The inaugural MoneySmart Week will be held from 2nd to 8th September 2012. It is brought to you by ASIC and their MoneySmart team.
I’ll publish more details as they come to me.
2011
Below are some of the resources I shared from last year’s Financial Planning Week.
The Money Guide by Matt Hern includes lots of articles to help you make smart financial decisions to create and protect your wealth.
In particular I recommend the following two free resources to help you work out the gaps you have in your financial management and where to start in fixing them.
Free Financial Health Check-up
Unlike many online financial health check-ups this one instantly produces a report identifying your gaps and lists tips to plug each of those gaps. Plus you’ll get pats on the back for each of the things that you are doing well. And it only takes about 5-7 minutes to complete.
Learn more and complete the check-up here. It’s free!
The Six Stages of Wealth Creation
The Six Stages of Wealth Creation model is another tool to help you to self-diagnose your financial situation. Having done so it guides you to then identify what is the right action for you to do right now based on your personal situation and goals.
As a result you will get clarity from the fog of options plus build confidence that the next action you are taking is the right one right now.
Watch the presentation and download the model here.
Free Q & A with “Ask an Expert”
One of the featured programs during Financial Planning Week is a complimentary Ask an Expert service. Ask an Expert is designed to give you an introduction into the benefits of financial planning advice by giving your the opportunity to ask a FPA member your financial question. This special service is only available from 23 May – 1st July 2011.
Each planner taking part in Ask an Expert is a member of the FPA and will answer questions on financial matters such as superannuation, savings and investments, managing tax and retirement planning.
To directly ask me a question click on the FPA Ask an Expert logo above to go directly to the FPA’s online form.
